Dikembe Mutombo may have hung up his Houston Rockets jersey in 2009, but he’s still at the center of the game. With all the hype surrounding the re-release of the adidas Mutombo, adidas Originals have created an animated series, The House of Mutumbo, showcasing the history of the Congolese-American NAB player. The three-part series will share his legendary life story using paper cutouts by illustrator Nathan McKee.
Mutombo was a four-time-winning NBA Defensive Player of The Year Award, surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the league’s second most prolific shot blocker and also known for his humanitarian efforts.
