For the most recent feature, Forbes magazine profiled the brightest entrepreneurs under 30. These power hitters are individual changing the game and making an impact in the US. Covering industries like finance, media, music, Hollywood, tech and art, they are all a part of the magazine’s annual list.
One of the chart toppers is Nigerian-American Uzoamaka Maduka, the co-founder of The American Reader, a monthly journal of literature and criticism, which ranks high on the list of 34 men and women.

Maduka is a mix of modern and throwback: A child of Nigerian immigrants and Princeton graduate, she decided to start a literary magazine, in print, at a time when most of her classmates were dreaming of launching hit apps. There’s a daily website, too, and a partnership with Salon.com helps with digital distribution.
