What’s worse than a leaked video? Filming an official video and people liking the leaked video better.
Davido recently dropped the “Official” Skelewu video filmed by Moe Musa in London. The video is a high quality production and is more diverse than most Nigerian videos but after watching the second video, fans were split on which one they prefer. Despite fan sentiment, this was clearly a strategic move as the new video premiered exclusively on MTV Base UK October 22, 2013.
The official video is filmed more like a movie with an apocalyptic theme, where as the first one was an instructional dance video that got you hyped to learn the moves. Skelewu has become a trilogy, those wanting to learn the dance moves will have to settle for the instructional video below! Videos aside, the song is fire and a hit on the streets.
